Vendor needs to provide translation and interpretation services
- Translation and interpretation services provided to Non-English Language Background parents in 20-30 schools Translation and interpretation services in person, via phone, and via email.
- Services provided within 24-48 hours at the request Interpretation services at Special Education meetings Translation services for documents provided by district office and particular to each assigned school to be completed with 24-48 hours Interpretation services provided for schools' staff and families during home visits Services provided to increase parent participation of school events and activities by notifying families and inviting families by letter, phone, and/or e-mail Interpretation services for recording the call-outs in the native language to phone numbers of school families Interpretation services used in conferencing with parents to update Emergency Card information and maintain current address, phone numbers, and other information for all assigned schools,
- Near-native fluency in two or more languages (speaking and writing) Culturally competent Able to prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment Strict adherence to work procedures, such as interpreter ethics, office standard operating procedures, etc,
- Competence with technology Organized Proactive Competence in researching terminology Adept at interacting with a variety of different cultures Services provided by the same individuals.
