Government Authority located in Tennessee; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for vision benefits program service.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide a fully insured vision benefits program for its employees.
- Contractor must be able to provide services at convenient locations throughout Knox County and surrounding counties.
- Employees enrolled in the plan will be provided in an electronic file at the initiation of the agreement. The city will then send a weekly electronic data interchange.
- COBRA participants are sent to vendor direct from the city’s COBRA Vendor
- Contractor must be able to set up a bi-directional feed with medical vendor
- Contractor will provide necessary information for city to remit payment via self-bill and contractor agrees the city pay in arrears
- Quoted rates should not include commissions payable to any external third party.
- Contractor must provide the city flexible spending account and health reimbursement account vendor with a claims file on a weekly basis. The FSA and HRA vendor will use this file to substantiate claims for their reimbursement to employees. The weekly file is currently transmitted by EyeMed via secure FTP to the FSA and HRA vendor.
- A 45-day grace period is provided for monthly premium payment.
- A 90-day notice will be provided to the City prior to the cancellation, termination or change in any of the contract provisions.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 31, 2021
(3) The contract period will be for three years.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (US Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
