[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide executive recruitment consulting services to assist in all aspects of the recruitment process for its next city manager to the government authority located in Johnson City, TN.
- Develop a candidate profile for the city manager by meeting with city commission to obtain information regarding specific issues and opportunities facing the city; the desirable education, experience and background of the candidates; and identification of the management skills and style that are appropriate for the position
- Develop an inclusive plan for implementing the city manager recruitment (print, web, social media, targeted calls, etc.), and identify specific strategies to encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
- Review resumes for background and qualifications followed by interviews to clarify each applicant’s experience and credentials and to prepare a written summary of preliminary candidates (10-15), for the position, outlining relative qualifications of each.
- Evaluate candidates for serious consideration by conducting in-depth reference checks with individuals who are or have been in the position to evaluate the candidates’ performance on the job.
- Verify selected candidates educational and employment background financial and credit check, and perform background, criminal and civil litigation checks.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than March 30,2021.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
