Government Authority located in Knoxville, Tennessee; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for collection services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide collection services to the government authority located in Knoxville, TN.
- County requests proposals from organizations that are actively engaged in and have extensive experience in collection of unpaid and delinquent accounts (e.g.: fees, fines, costs, restitution and probation) for a public court system. The types of accounts that shall be turned over for collection are all fines, fees and costs for the Criminal Court, Sessions Court – Criminal Division and Fourth Circuit Court. Knox County shall determine which accounts are to be assigned to the successful proposer for collection. The Knox County Criminal Court Clerk or designee shall forward accounts that remain unpaid for at least six (6) months to a collection agency selected pursuant to the provisions of the Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.) which the agency shall resort to the proper legal methods of collection. Agency costs incurred in the collection of said accounts and any interest and penalty charges, allowable by law, shall be included in the amount collected. Knox County requests proposals for a total system solution and will consider only those proposals that include solutions which are currently functioning successfully in other settings.
