[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide web-based curriculum courseware program service to the government authority located in Johnson City, TN.
1. Courseware and Assessment Specifications
- Comprehensive design that integrates instruction, assessment, classroom management, professional development, and school management
- A wide variety of courses to choose from in core subjects, electives, world languages, honors, career and technical education, college and career readiness, and selections for use with the AP© exams
- Integrates assessments, both diagnostic and fixed benchmark, with a personalized automated remediation pathway
- Supports students at, below, or above grade level needs
- Multi-genre, multi-cultural selections
- Aligned to state and common core standards
- For original credit, supplemental learning, credit recovery, unit recovery, and extended learning:
o If students are working in a first-time credit situation, they will have 75-90 hours’ worth of content to complete
o If students are working in a credit recovery situation, they will have 60-75 hours’ worth of content based on the pre-test exemptions allowed
- Multiple ways to engage and differentiate learning
- Can be implemented as a student-centered, self-directed application, or in a blended learning environment that integrates online student work and classroom instruction
- Students are presented with over 15 different interaction types
- Customization opportunities to meet unique needs
o Courses are highly flexible
o Customize courses with specific activities to support and enhance instruction
o Supplemental assignments can be on-demand and standards or skills aligned
- Curriculum components include:
o Built-in lesson tutorials
o Threaded discussions
o Enhanced learning applications, calculators, data tools, maps and charts
o Student support features such as read-aloud and translating tools
o Brief, embedded video content
o Each module within each unit will include a hook, stated objective, modeling, guided and independent practice, and a check of mastery
o Student can progress at their own pace, repeating or accelerating content as needed
- Rigorous and engaging courses grounded in a tradition of solid research, sound pedagogy, and applied innovation
- Comprehensive courseware proven by third-party research and studies to increase student achievement
- Dynamic and stimulating content
- Include interactive tutorials, activities, and lessons

- Customized learning paths are prescribed through the completion of pre-tests

- Students receive immediate feedback to provide positive reinforcement

- Progress monitoring through intuitive dashboard reporting system
- Through student, class, or school focused reports, educators can easily monitor their students’ progress

- The program provides high-quality and continuous teacher and staff professional development and training
- Services model provides a defined framework dedicated to planning, training and follow up coaching to ensure a successful program implementation
- Must have a U.S. based customer support center
