[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide american rescue plan act financial consultant services to the government authority located in Murfreesboro, TN.
- The consultant’s role will be to provide strategic recommendations, verify eligibility, and provide guidance and review of the city’s processes with respect to american rescue plan act compliance.
- The consultant should also recommend opportunities to leverage american rescue plan act funding.
- The consultant may be required to assist with developing project lists, soliciting public input, issuing RFPs, awarding contracts, and financial reporting.
- Provide accounting services, including expenditure tracking, revenue tracking, and detailed financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and federal reporting standards.
- Provide financial management support by advising concerning processes and appropriate expenditures in accordance with the agreements, GAAP, and federal guidelines.
- Provide additional financial guidance and support as needed to execute the requirements of the agreements with the city.
- Other duties include, but are not limited to: establish grant fund tracking mechanisms, monitor expenditures and make determinations on eligible/ineligible expenditures, prepare or provide assistance in the preparation and submission of necessary forms and paperwork, ensure compliance throughout the entire grant lifecycle, provide ad-hoc reporting, and respond to recipient or city inquiries in an expedient manner.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than April 19, 2022.

Performance of the work will be Offsite.
