[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide school nutrition management system.
• The software must be designed specifically for elementary and secondary school nutrition.
• The software must be cloud based and hosted by the vendor in a secured location, with redundant failover capabilities.
• The software should only utilize native browser-based technologies such as HTML and HTML5. No application utilizing third-party plugins will be considered (Examples of plugins include, but are not limited to, Flash, Java, Silverlight, etc.).
• The software must support any modern OS, defined as the current publicly available version minus three version.
• The software must support current browser versions, defined as the current publicly available version minus three versions, for the following web browsers: Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, Mobile Safari, Mobile Chrome.
• Must keep student eligibility status confidential during POS transactions.
• Must allow student and adult accounts to be available at any site within the county.
• Must track allergies and dietary restrictions by student and warn and prevent sales of items based on this information.
• Must accept cash, check, or charge (ATM, debit, credit, and check cards).
• Must allow for cash or checks to be accepted and applied to accounts during a POS transaction.
• Must allow charge limits to be set or charging to be blocked completely for specific accounts.
• Must handle prepayments at any time.
• Must allow for a report to be printed of checks taken that day with check number and account to which they apply.
• Must support multiple grade, student, and adult pricing levels.
• Must allow for cashiers to be alerted to dietary restrictions or parent’s restrictions at the POS terminal.
• Must allow a transaction to be voided at any time.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than March 25, 2022.

Global, companies from all over the world can apply for this. However, Vendor may need to visit client location for onsite meetings.
