Government authority located in Knoxville, Tennessee; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for countywide communications system.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide countywide communications system is expected to serve the current communication needs of the County and it must have the flexibility of adapting to changing system requirements and new technology without the need to replace major equipment elements; County intends to implement future fixed and mobile data applications and add additional users beyond the initial identified requirements and requires that this network allow for future growth of the network; proposals for an IP-based Network with connectivity to all dispatch, RF and controller site locations; County will utilize the new DMR (or functional, compatible equivalent) system to support fixed, mobile, data and voice applications to the government authority located in Knoxville, TN.
- Simple and effective network management is an important aspect of DMR (or functional, compatible equivalent) systems. A network manager or operator shall be able to have access to the system for network, subscriber and fault management. This access should be via the use of web browser windows.
- A network manager shall be able to enter and maintain configuration information for the components of the network infrastructure
- Fault management shall involve the use of Simple Network Management Protocol (hereinafter, “SNMP”) information gathered at a central point from the remote sites and associated fixed network infrastructure.
- SNMP management system shall be able to both ‘passively listen’ for SNMP traps to arrive, notifying of an event and also the ability to periodically poll specific equipment on the network to determine the equipment’s operational status.
(2) A mandatory Site Visits call will be held on January 14, 2022.
(3) All question must be submitted no later than February 15, 2022.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
