[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide tourism development services include new branding and photo library, tourism project and infrastructure grant work, tourism festivals and events, television features, magazine features, etc.
- The consultant will ensure the legal and fiscal compliance requirements of the board completed in an appropriate and timely manner; coordinate and support the board meetings; act on behalf of the board in the community; and perform grant writing and administration for the board
- The individual will act as a liaison between the project partners and the tourism development board and will actively cultivate and build new partnerships for potential projects
- The project manager will oversee the tourism marketing strategy, identify new opportunities, and keep up with best practices in tourism marketing
- Update media materials, develop and implement social media calendar, build email list and coordinate email marketing, and write and curate content for website and blog
- Explore other marketing tools such as website SEO and paid media strategy
- Follow state and local tourism trends and best practices on tourism as economic development
and tourism marketing
- Manage all tourism development and marketing initiative projects
- Coordinate public relations for the tourism development including media relations and government affairs
