[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide digital collections repository replacement platform
- seeks a vendor-supported, hosted repository service to serve as a replacement for its digital collections repository, currently based on Islandora 7 and Fedora 3.8.1,
- The new repository platform must be based on an open source repository solution using a repository service based on Fedora Commons and Hyrax engine that will utilize IIIF for content delivery,
- The project will include migration of all digital objects (the primary file, supplemental files / bitstreams / related binary files, embargo and access restrictions, technical metadata, descriptive metadata, licenses) to the new repository platform, including books, compound objects, image files, PDFs and multimedia including audio and video,
- Experience building repository services based on Hyrax engine and Fedora Commons,
- Demonstrated track record hosting open source repositories.
- Ability to migrate the current content models we have in Islandora into acceptable content models in Hyrax/Hyku
- Support for IIIF and an associated viewer (likely Universal Viewer or Mirador)
- Ability to install, host, and administer in a cloud hosted environment (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, RedHat OpenShift, etc.)
- Demonstrated vendor experience in working with clients to prioritize development and migration priorities as specified by the client (this can be satisfied through references and/or through documentation of working with customers regarding their priorities).
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than March 31, 2021.

- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
