[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide economic impact consulting services to the government authority located in Knoxville, TN.
- The selected firm will be expected to generate a report, including statistical analysis, related to the following:
• A projection of the annual stadium sales taxes that would be allocated to the sports authority pursuant to Tennessee code annotated section 67-6-103 due to the operation of the stadium.
• A projection of the additional adjacent area sales taxes that would be allocated to the sports authority pursuant to Tennessee code annotated section 67-6-103 if the legislation described above is enacted as requested by the county and the city.
• A projection of other local tax revenues, such as hotel tax revenues and amusement tax revenues that will be realized as a result of the operation of the stadium and adjacent developments.
• A projection of the jobs (both direct and indirect) and payroll that would be created by the construction and operation of the stadium and the adjacent developments.
• A projection of any additional annual tax revenues that would be realized indirectly by the city and the county due to the undertaking of the construction and operation of the stadium, the adjacent developments and other economic activities resulting therefrom.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than March 29, 2021.
