[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide short-term disability insurance benefits to eligible central state government and state higher education employees as well as long-term disability insurance benefits for central state government employees and possibly state higher education employees should state higher education choose to participate in the program to the government authority located in Nashville, TN.
- Core services to be delivered by the vendor shall include, but are not limited to, medical underwriting of late applicants, disability determination, claims processing including offsets with other benefits (i.e. workers compensation, social security, sick leave bank, etc.), return to work programs, case management, call center, employee outreach and communication, referrals, online services for members and employers, enrollment file processing, completion of all required state insurance filings, and reporting.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than February 17, 2021.
(3) A pre-response conference will be held on February 9, 2021.
(4) A notice of intent to respond deadline will be due on February 10, 2021.
