[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide pharmacy benefit manager services for providing pharmacy claims adjudication, rebate administration and operating and maintaining a comprehensive network of retail pharmacies, specialty network and mail order pharmacy program for member usage.
- The City departments include but are not limited to: Police, Fire, Water and Sewer, Street, Solid Waste, Parks and Recreation, Engineering, Planning, Human Resources, Finance and Administration.
- The City feels it is prudent to request proposals at this time in order to ensure that it receives the best price and service for its employees, and is able to control the cost of its pharmacy benefits. The proposer’s ability to demonstrate help with managing health care costs will be considered. The City is also interested in obtaining exceptional customer service.
