Government Authority located in Tennessee; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for Medicare eligible retiree health insurance plan administration service.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide Medicare eligible retiree health insurance plan administration service including access to Medicare plans that are eligible for lifetime coverage, b) reduces the city’s retiree liabilities and c) reduces the administrative requirements for the city staff.
- Shall provide a customer service individual or team contact for the Medicare program that will have primary responsibility for resolving issues, answering claims and administrative questions, working on billing and membership changes and issues, and expediting all issues related to the plans.
- Shall provide projected monthly premiums or charges for budgeting purposes.
- Must be able to receive periodic eligibility data manually.
- Shall maintain separate accounts or subgroups as determined by the city.
- Must furnish or ensure that each eligible retiree receives a detailed summary of benefits, including limitations and exclusions, during open enrollment periods.
- Shall be able to provide, at no charge, a variety of reports for various business purposes throughout the year for analysis and planning purposes, for other post-employment benefits (OPEB) needs, and other business needs that may arise which need enrollment and claims data.
- Shall provide secure internet access to each enrollee for medical and pharmacy claims information. This is in addition to telephone access.
- Shall provide periodic year-to-date utilization reports for ancillary benefits and services rendered to covered enrollees. Provide ad hoc reporting by request.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than May 7, 2020.
(3) Contract term will be three years.

- Onshore (USA Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
