[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide transit integrated advanced technology solution.
- To provide an integrated intelligent transportation system (its) solution providing for replacement/updated cad/AVL with expanded capabilities, and integration of existing systems to the maximum extent possible into one complete, comprehensive its system
- Cloud based system enabling KAT to schedule para-transit service with registered clients
- The system enables KAT to schedule client transportation, automatically assign para-transit work to van operators and make necessary last-minute changes to van operator assignments
- Ecolane also provides an account-based payment system for the para-transit service
- Transit support staff key transactions to accounts when clients schedule para-transit service
- The account-based payment system also provides periodic revenue reports and account balance reports
- Para-transit vans contain automated tablets that interface with ecolane’s cloud-based server through a built-in cellular modem
- Real-time passenger information system (mobile app, SMS messaging and web site solution).
