[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide telecommunications services for the DOE (including the National Nuclear Security Administration/NNSA) Oak Ridge Federal Integrated Communications Network (ORF-ICN) to the government authority located in Oak Ridge, TN.
- The ORF-ICN includes an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) voice and data telecommunications system, cable plant, inter-site Fiber Optics Transmission System (FOTS), a Telecommunications Management System (TMS), Voice Mail (VM) system, conference bridge, E-911 system, and special circuits.
- The ORF-ICN dialling plan replicates the local Knoxville, Tennessee dialling plan: 7-digit local (no prefix), 1+10 Digit Long Distance, and 011+ International Direct Distance Dialling (IDDD). Automatic route selection (ARS) is implemented which routes Government Long Distance to the GSA Network system, non-Government long distance and overflow to a commercial source, and local calls to AT&T.
