[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide faculty activity reporting system to assist in the collection and ongoing curation of faculty activity in the areas of publications, proposals and grants, research, professional activities and teaching activities.
- Platform will provide individual faculty assessment workflows and reporting insights into campus colleges and departments around faculty activities and well as support public portfolios.
- Solution must be available as an on-premise, locally run installation. Platform must be compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2016+.
- Solution must allow for tracking of various faculty activities related to instruction, research and publication, and service. Please describe the information in detail that your system is designed to track.
- Solution must be able to import bibliographic information and citation data from online databases. At a minimum, these databases are Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, RePEc, SSRN, MLA, CrossRef, Altmetric, and ORCID.
- Solution must provide a reporting platform and rich capabilities to produce custom reports from data.
- Solution must provide a standard, baseline set of fields as well as allow the university to create custom fields as needed.
- Solution must allow relationships or links to be created between, but not limited to, people, publications, grants, research and professional activities.
- Solution must provide capabilities to search, browse, and export research grant data across a large number of funders.
- Solution must be able to search and link global research topics by publications and awarded research, at the individual faculty member level.
- Solution must be able to map and visualize trends and emerging research topics by funding area.
- Solution must provide a public ‘portal’, drawing from data contained within the platform to create a publicly available CV for each faculty member. Portal must be able to search individual profiles, including all assets contained within (biographical, publication data, research data, teaching data, etc.).
- Solution must be fully supported by vendor, and allow the university to submit tickets that are addressed by vendor within 48 hours.
- Solution must have API capability, allowing the importing and exporting of data from other campus systems.
- Solution must have granular security controls with the ability to limit users’ access to the user, department, college and campus level.
- Solution must be able to utilize SSO (CAS/SAML) for authentication purposes.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 17, 2019.
(3) Contract term will be five years.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
