[A] Budget: Looking for proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide customer communications software that will generate billing invoices documents as well as other customer correspondences such as, tree trimming letters, natural gas and water inspections, notices, construction, outage and system maintenance alerts and notifications, program cancellation letters, and other standard utility industry notifications. On average, 11,300 bills are produced per day, five days per week with a peak/maximum of 19,000 per day. In addition to document generation, KUB is looking for postal sorting software to ensure KUB maintains the postal discount for mailing printed bills. KUB also desires to produce and present bills in electronic format via KUB’s web-based customer portal and potentially via email, mobile application and/or text message. The scope of work could include all or a combination of the following services:
1. Customer communications software that will generate billing invoices, cancellation letters, standard utility industry notifications, and any additional documentation KUB requires.
2. Postal Sorting software to maintain the USPS discount.
a. Verifies and formats addresses to match the USPS.
b. Sorts the certified USPS addresses by mail route
c. Generates a unique ID for barcode and bill.
d. Sends data to printers with variable data including number of pages, types of inserts, etc.
3. Services for implementation and integration with KUB’s current billing system, SPL Peoplesoft v8.9 system, mass email system, print shop, and document repository.
4. (Optional) Services for document storage, retrieval and distribution via KUB website portal, mobile application, email and/or text message.
(2) A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held on August 13, 2019.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than August 21, 2019.
(4) Contract period will be for five years.

- Onshore (USA Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
